Message	Ive got a 96TT stage 3 as well. The 96 is OBD2 as you may know so the emissions are stricter. With the JWT computer, 15 degrees of timing with 91 octane will for sure detonate unless you have good intercoolers. What i did since i can only get 91 octane here in shitty socal...is retard my timing back to 13 degrees or so. Lost a tad bit of power but worked perfect..no more knocking. If its cool out and when i get some good intercoolers, ill pick it back up to 15. Better fix it or you will kill your engine for sure. Good luck!
